On the outskirts of Norwich CCGrass and their partners, WH Malcolm, are installing a new 3G pitch for the Norfolk FA at their impressive FDC complex.

Norfolk County FA is the not-for-profit, governing body of football in Norfolk. It runs 11 County Cup competitions and three purpose built Football Development Centres.

Founded in 1881, Norfolk County FA grows participation, promotes diversity and now administers for over 25,000 players, 1,500 teams, 250 clubs and an army of volunteers that keeps the grassroots game going.

CCGrass UK CEO, Bryn Lee, visited the site, during the installation of the new Stemgrass 60 turf, and commented, “I was very impressed with the quality of the pitch build, carried out by Charles Lawrence and Woodholme Construction, on behalf of their parent company WH Malcolm. They have constructed an excellent base, in a tight location, which will add to a “Stadium” feel to the end pitch.”

Alongside the new pitch, The FDC already has 6 five a side and 2 seven a side pitches, which the Charles Lawrence team will be resurfacing soon, with the CCGrass Stemgrass 60 turf. Bryn adds, “When completed, this will be one of the best facilities in the country and one the Norfolk FA will be proud of.”
